Nowadays, Apple might have sold two million of its innovative iPad tablets in less than a couple of months, but it has a powerful Chinese competitor, the similar looking iPed. This outlines another impressive story of a successful Chinese brand trying to annex on the Apple iPad’s fame. The renamed brand Orphan Electronics has recently released a hand held device known as the Chinese iPed, a vivacity clone version of the genuine Apple’s iPad.
The most obvious similarity with the iPad is its exterior look and its packaging. More surprisingly, the Chinese iPed can be purchased from Shenzhen computer mall, placed near the Foxconn’s plant, where the genuine iPads are being produced.
